Lunacy

Posted by: | Comments (822)

Lunacy and lunatic are words derived from lunar, because the issue of lunacy is tied to the moon.  By extension astrologically  natal moon placements and lunar transits. So I want to explore this a little bit possible hallmarks of lunacy.

Moon square Mercury: Emotions and thoughts clash, confuse the individual.  Emotions will be expressed different than how they were felt. Also things may be taken in and processed  incorrectly.

Moon in negative aspect to Pluto - Explosive emotions, need for power or control over others.

Moon in Pisces- Extremely sensitive emotionally also soaks up energies in surroundings quite easily. Intuitive and easily influenced by the moon.

Moon in Cancer- Home placement for the moon and the lunar transits have a huge impact here as well.

Moon in negative aspect to Neptune: Much like Moon in Pisces, easily soaks up the emotions in a way that personal emotions are hard to separate from the environment.

These are some of the potential natal placements, you will also have to check a lunar calendar and check when negative aspects from the transiting moon aspect your natal moon as well. These days may have you on edge somewhat especially with a water moon,  so be sure to make an extra effort to keep a cool head. Peace.

Emotionally detached.

Posted by: | Comments (530)

I’ve heard a lot of complaints by women about men being emotionally detached. As men we are supposed to be the stronger and more emotionally grounded sex.  There are also many emotionally detached women out there as well. What all of these people are missing, is that  there are many ways different people process emotions depending on their astrological make up. The people who are “emotionally detached” are really people who process emotions in a way the accuser doesn’t understand. On the flip side, the “emotionally detached” person can’t understand what the big deal is about. While there are genuine cases of course, of emotional detachment due to trauma and other life experiences. I would assert that its a simple element or aspect incompatibility in the natal and synastry chart. I will give examples of some emotionally detached aspects and planet placements.

Moon in air signs - It must be understood that air is an objective  and rational element. Raw emotion is strange and confusing to these individuals and they will be uncomfortable  with expressive emotions.

Moon in Capricorn- Moon in Capricorn is in detriment, and has trouble letting emotions go freely.

Moon aspecting Saturn-  Saturn being the planet of structure, order, and restriction is a natural enemy of the moon which needs to be free to express itself.

Moon aspecting Pluto - Controlling emotions  is very important and emotions are deep and intense but not demonstrative.

Venus in air- too much emotional probing and analyzing is uncomfortable  for these natives.  Possessiveness is not an attribute that is looked upon positively by these natives.

Venus aspecting  Saturn- Demonstrative love is not a real hallmark with these aspects so significant others will find these peoples coolness a bit too cold. Saturn is an enemy of Venus.

Venus in Capricorn- Again,  Saturn is an enemy of Venus.

Venus aspecting Pluto- Expression is controlled  but the intensity is present because the upper hand must be kept.

These are a few of my findings. If you are having any of these specific issues I can be contacted and this can be explored to see if it is in your natal or synastry.

Any other findings? Please do add- on and if you so choose , explain your findings and thoughts.

Peace

The TRUTH about aging.

Posted by: | Comments (321)

Everybody is concerned about aging, and disease as they age. While somethings are well in our control (weight for example) other things require a little more intricate knowledge of our personal cosmic wiring and structure. Astrology shows us that aging is just a compound of potential problems.  Issues that for most,  are unaddressed due to lack of astrological knowledge .

Progress in mind and spirit, but regression in the physical.

So I will explain how this works.  When you are born, your sun is in a specific degree.  Every year after that  the sun progresses one degree. So for example, an individual is born at 16 degrees in Cancer, by the age 14 this individual will have their sun progress into Leo.  At 14, now the potential ailments have compounded, because this person has experienced Cancer and now can potentially be experiencing Leo ailments. At age 44, this person’s digestive system (progressed sun in Virgo)  will also be a potential point of weakness in addition to the two previous signs.

A better example: A man is born September 12th, roughly( don’t quote me I’m “eyeballing” it *laughs*) 17 degrees in Virgo.  By age 21 he will be 8 degrees in Libra.  Now he  can legally consume alcohol, and his sun has progressed into the social sign of Libra.  Libra rules the kidneys though, liquor is kryptonite to your kidneys, and he started in Virgo which is your digestive system.  So this persons health will be very sensitive and easily effected adversely by liquor.  By the time  this individual transits two, maybe three sun signs, it is clear that he will not necessarily suffer from heart ailments, or  some kind of  memory loss disease.  He will  likely suffer from kidney failure, renal failure, kidney stones, gall bladder, and liver problems and that will be the root of his later life problems.

Preventative measures

Medical astrology is so very deep that a few paragraphs are not enough to explain how aspects, house placements etc, require different types of diets to maintain health. There are however, salts that are needed by each sign, because of the sun and/or ascendant being in the sign, these salts are burned up and expended.

Aries – Potassium Phosphate, said to be good as a brain food helpful for nerve and brain imbalances. Foods containing this salt include Parsley, Beans, Beets, Carrots, Linseed Meal, Peanuts, Milk, Buttermilk, Cheese and Avocados.

Taurus – Sodium Sulphate,, said to be good in regulating the water supply in the body system, decreasing or increasing it as needed. Foods containing this salt include Cauliflower, Lettuce, Cabbage, Turnips, Radishes, Onions, Egg Yolks, Celery, Brussel Sprouts, Kohlrabi, and Milk.

Gemini – Potassium Chloride, said to be good for forming and distributing fibrin throughout the body, thereby moderating coagulation. When clogging occurs, it is associated with sinus and throat problems as well as fibrous growths. Foods containing this salt include Cheese, Egg Yolks, Radishes, Coconuts, Lentils, Carrots, Spinach, Asparagus, and Sauerkraut.

Cancer – Calcium Flouride, said to be good for muscle and ligament tonicity, (thus helping prevent muscle prolapsis) as well as healthy teeth enamel. Foods containing this salt include Turnips, Asparagus, Beets, Goat Cheese, Kelp, Garlic, and Pineapple.

Leo – Magnesium Phosphate, said to be good for healthy nerve tissue, thus assisting nerve transmission. Foods containing this salt include Cauliflower, Cabbage, Asparagus, Beechnuts, Almonds, Whole Wheat, as well as fruits such as Lemons, Limes, Oranges, Grapefruit, Figs, Gooseberries, Peaches, and Cherries.

Virgo – Potassium Sulphate, said to be good for circulation of oils through our body, which supposedly assists digestion and kidney function, as well as excretion of toxins through the skin. Foods containing this salt include Cauliflower, Lettuce, Cabbage, Onions, Celery, Brussel Sprouts, Tomatoes and Cucumbers.

Libra – Sodium Phosphate, said to be good for balancing the acid-alkaline function in our bodies, thus helping all acid conditions which affect the nervous system. Foods containing this salt include Cottage Cheese, Eggs, Buttermilk, Brown Rice, Tomato juice, Cirtus fruits and juices, Whole Wheat products, Lentils, Vegetable Greens, Asparagus, and Parsley.

Scorpio – Calcium Sulphate, said to be good for building and sustaining epithelial tissue, thus supposedly good for all skin diseases. Foods containing this salt include Cauliflower, Lettuce, Cabbage, Turnips, Radishes, Onions, Egg Yolks, Celery, Brussel Sprouts, Kohlrabi, and Milk.

Sagittarius – Silica, said to be good for building and maintaining skin, hair, nails, and nerve coverings, as well as removing decomposed matter from the skin. Foods containing this salt include Endive, Barley, Oats, raw Cabbage, Cucumber skins, Shredded Wheat, Rye and Whole Wheat products, Spinach, Peas, Carrots, Gooseberries, and Strawberries.

Capricorn – Calcium Phosphate, said to be good as a bone builder and helpful in any bone disease. Foods containing this salt include Parsley, Beans, Beets, Carrots, Linseed Meal, Peanuts, Milk, Buttermilk, Cheese and Avocados.

Aquarius – Sodium Chloride, said to be good for regulaitng the water supply throughout the body, thus affecting elimination and how “cool” or “hot” we are regardless of the temperature. Foods containing this salt include Onions, Celery, Tomatoes, Almonds, Apples, Spinach, Peaches, Pecans, Lentils, Sauerkraut, Eff Yolks, Swiss chard, and Roquefort and Goat Cheese.

Pisces – Ferrous Phosphate, said to be good for transporting oxygen throughout the body, thus aiding circulation which assists the purifying and stimulating of internal organs. Foods containing this salt include Raisins, Prunes, Plums, Grapes, Figs, Oranges, Spinach, Currants, Mushrooms, Dates, Beets, Wheat Bran, and Lima Beans.

(This list of foods corresponding to the 12 cellular tissue salts was originally published in “Wynn’s Astrology” magazine, March 1941, in the article “Zodiacal Salts and Diet” by A.J. Haworth, D.C.)
