NBA astrology 2k12′ edition

With the emergence of New York Knicks free agent point guard turn hero Jeremy Lin; I was compelled to reevaluate the astrology of the current stars as well as take another look back.
88′ power cluster
The last 3rd of 1988 has spawned a seemingly incredible crop of young stars. Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, and Russell Westbrook all have Mars Aries. I’m not sure at the moment why this particular stretch of Mars Aries has produced such a group of players. Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook have fire moons to go along with the Mars Aries helping to augment their explosive athleticism. One issue that needs to be watched closely is back issues due to Saturn in Sagittarius. Derrick Rose is the first one to show the effects of that with chronic back spasms.
The new kid on the block so to speak Jeremy Lin was also born in the same period in 1988 and has Mars Aries as well. Over the past 4 game winning streak, Lin has provided assertiveness, leadership , and charisma which are all positive traits of Mars Aries. (Baron Davis who is on the bench recovering from a back injury for the Knicks is also a Mars Aries native).
Around the league
Timberwolves young point guard Ricky Rubio has been a major catalyst in the Timberwolves run . His Mars Gemini is showing ( great hands) in his assist and steals stat columns. The thing to look out for with Mars Gemini’s is they have great hands ( Patrick Ewing, and Zach Randolph are two big men who have/ had this placement) as Gemini rules hands, lungs , and arms. But at the expense of the knees and legs , which is not nearly as detrimental to big men as a point guard. Rubio has actually been a professional since he was 14 so he’s been playing for a while now and not a true rookie in the sense of the word. We will have to see how his legs hold up.
Blake Griffin is another Mars Gemini native who will have to look out for leg issues . Saturn Capricorn will manifest itself in the joints, skin, and bones so that’s something to keep an eye on also.
A look back
A look back at the 1992 dreamteam reveals some very interesting astrological facts. The entire roster’s sun signs complimented each other. The sun being a mans fundamental expression of masculinity means that in male professional sports this needs to be the first characteristic evaluated.
Here are some interesting facts about the 92′ dreamteam roster:
- 6 Leos ( Magic Johnson, Chris Mullin, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, David Robinson, and Christian Laettner).
- Dynamic air sign duo ( Michael Jordon Aquarius, and Scottie Pippen Libra)
- Shooter and disher extraordinaires ( Larry Bird Sagittarius and John Stockton Aries)
- The entire roster was masculine signs.

So far Mitt Romney has accumulated the most delegates and is in the lead. Many already believe Mitt Romney will be the one who will be President Obama’s opponent in the general election. What does this have to do with Neptune in Pisces?
Age of deception
Neptune will be home in Pisces until 2026 indicating the next 14 years humanity will see an increase in scams, schemes, and fraud. Many will laugh and think “business as usual”; business as usual will be harder at work in this period. There are astrologers who consider Neptune a malefic planet because it’s negative effects outweigh it’s positive. Neptune brings confusion and fog. Making whatever Neptune aspects hard to grasp.
Consider a global “fog” where masses of people are easily swindled. In history, the California gold rush took place during the last Neptune in Pisces transit. The gold rush promised untold riches for the migrants who moved out west. The reality is, very few became wealthy. These types of overstated and over advertised “opportunities” will become more enticing and beguiling in the near future. Especially if the economy worsens.
Neptune rules over drugs and intoxicants; and rules the 12th house of hospitals, prisons and asylums. With economic conditions worsening there will be more cases of drug abuse and alcohol abuse. It’s what Neptune does. The frustration of not knowing how to proceed or where to go will bring many to “self-medication.”
In-step Governor Romney and co
What does Mitt Romney have to do with this? Astrologically Mitt Romney is a tall Gemini asc, (air sign ascendants are taller, or appear taller because of their frame). Since Mitt Romney is a Sun, Mercury, and Mars Piscean, these planets are on his MH ( career, notoriety). Mitt Romney IS deception incarnated and many question whether or not he has a core philosophy or dogma in his politics. Add in Neptune transiting his midheaven and conjuncting his mars and mercury in Pisces and it makes for a Sheppard who can pull the wool over the eyes of his sheep. This is one person whose word deserves to be questioned;for the simple fact that he himself is not “clear” on his own intentions.
He has made statements that push the envelope as far as misinformation go. Like these for example
“My sons are all adults and they’ve made decisions about their careers and they’ve chosen not to serve in the military and active duty and I respect their decision in that regard. One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected because they think I’d be a great president.”
“I’m not a big-game hunter. I’ve made that very clear. I’ve always been a rodent and rabbit hunter. Small varmints, if you will.”

Newt Gingrich is a double Gemini and he is another one who Neptune will have an effect on . If Newt Gingrich doesn’t win he may very well end up a VP candidate.
The good
Neptune is the universal lover and Pisces is the martyr. Looking out for one another no matter what happens is one of the best effects of the Neptune season. Neighbors and communities in theory will be more understanding and accommodating to each others plight.This element of Neptune will be critical to the future.

Troy Davis was born October 9th 1968 in Georgia, unable to determine the exact ascendant sign and degree at the moment. Working with what information I have, there are a number of conclusions that can be made based on his natal chart:
- Sun and Mercury in Libra opposite Saturn in Aries-:Saturn is in fall in Aries the respect most people have for structure and authority isn’t there.Mercury in Libra opposing Saturn Aries indicates someone who can plot and scheme against authority and Sun opposing Saturn is indicative of someone who is not cooperative feels they must go to the extreme in asserting themself. Sun is exalted in Aries and Saturn is exalted in libra which is indicative of someone who is assertive but has a keen sense of justice. With these two placements swaped this can show someone who can be a proverbial bull in the china shop, struggling to be direct, struggles with balance, and chafes against people who give him opposition.
-Moon Taurus opposite Neptune in Scorpio- This is indicative of someone who struggles with boundaries, emotionally and otherwise. Neptunes nature makes this native extremely susceptible to external influences and has trouble separating their own energy from others. Neptune dissolves boundaries. This is someone who can pull the wool over others eyes as well.
- Lastly Venus conjunct Neptune: People may not be able to see him for who he really is and of no fault of his own.Neptune is projecting a “spell” so to speak.
Now I also looked at the original event, the alleged murder of the of duty police officer that took place on August 19th, 1989 @ 1:15am in Savannah Georgia.

and the execution chart for the execution which took place September 21st, 2011 @ 11:08 pm in Georgia.
Ironically, the murder/arrest and the execution both take place @ 11 degrees Gemini ascending.
The transiting Pluto Capricorn conjuncts the Saturn Capricorn of the original alleged murder even. Death by the state.

An event chart for the 6.3 magnitude earthquake that hit Virginia and rippled up the eastern coast of the US up into Canada shows a lot of volatile energy on the Saturn- Moon axis (10th and 4th house).
Chiron conjuncted Neptune conjuncting the IC from 1:30 pm est to about 2 pm est. Possible self/home inflicted wound of a deceptive nature like a weapons test gone awry. Also the Sun in the midheaven opposing chiron and neptune leads me to believe this was an effect of Solar activity. The sun has been acting up as of late and solar flares are increasing in frequency.
