Emotionally detached.
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve heard a lot of complaints by women about men being emotionally detached. As men we are supposed to be the stronger and more emotionally grounded sex. There are also many emotionally detached women out there as well. What all of these people are missing, is that there are many ways different people process emotions depending on their astrological make up. The people who are “emotionally detached” are really people who process emotions in a way the accuser doesn’t understand. On the flip side, the “emotionally detached” person can’t understand what the big deal is about. While there are genuine cases of course, of emotional detachment due to trauma and other life experiences. I would assert that its a simple element or aspect incompatibility in the natal and synastry chart. I will give examples of some emotionally detached aspects and planet placements.
Moon in air signs - It must be understood that air is an objective and rational element. Raw emotion is strange and confusing to these individuals and they will be uncomfortable with expressive emotions.
Moon in Capricorn- Moon in Capricorn is in detriment, and has trouble letting emotions go freely.
Moon aspecting Saturn- Saturn being the planet of structure, order, and restriction is a natural enemy of the moon which needs to be free to express itself.
Moon aspecting Pluto - Controlling emotions is very important and emotions are deep and intense but not demonstrative.
Venus in air- too much emotional probing and analyzing is uncomfortable for these natives. Possessiveness is not an attribute that is looked upon positively by these natives.
Venus aspecting Saturn- Demonstrative love is not a real hallmark with these aspects so significant others will find these peoples coolness a bit too cold. Saturn is an enemy of Venus.
Venus in Capricorn- Again, Saturn is an enemy of Venus.
Venus aspecting Pluto- Expression is controlled but the intensity is present because the upper hand must be kept.
These are a few of my findings. If you are having any of these specific issues I can be contacted and this can be explored to see if it is in your natal or synastry.
Any other findings? Please do add- on and if you so choose , explain your findings and thoughts.
Peace

Posted by: | CommentsSo I was talking to an acquaintance of mine who is a few years older, married, two kids. He tells me how he has a Facebook page that his wife set up. He’s a late degree Gemini so being mercury ruled he really talks someones ears off and in the same vein, IM and chat someones fingers to the bone. He’s frustrated because his wife keeps a close eye on him. He’s always telling me, ” man, I can’t use any of that electronic stuff, she’s super jealous, even though it’s just chit chat she goes bananas”. Well his wife just so happens to be a late degree Pisces. Both of their sun signs are at a tight square.
Now looking further into their astrology he (I’ll call him Shawn) doesn’t have much to signify an attraction or affinity with a Pisces sun woman. However, in her chart, her moon tightly conjuncts his sun, and their venus’ trine each other resulting in a rather strong love bond overall. Their mars planets are sextile also, so at least on a passion and sexual level they get on great. It’s when we get to the deeper sun and moon dynamic is where things start to get a little murky. Their moons are in opposition meaning that their schedules are probably opposite of each other, for example, she works at day and he works at night. Her sun squares his sun and moon.
Shawn also admitted to me that he runs around on his wife, but he admits she is a great wife and mother, she is very supportive and a true keeper of the home. I just believe the Pisces sun placement may throw a big monkey wrench into their whole situation and may be part of the force that would drive him to look elsewhere. Gemini doesn’t want a clingy emotional Pisces to deal with that’s too hard to understand and irritating to deal with as an air sign. Asking him not to chat goes against everything in him as a mercury sign.
They still have this potent sexual energy and strong emotional affinity(mutual harmonious moon-venus aspects). My overall point being, there are no real home runs, and if you do happen to find a Mr. wrong or Mr. right you are in an elite club. There are simply too many intricacies for everything to unfold like a Disney fairy tale. Shawn has some real issues with who his wife is (sun square sun), but there are many elements he appreciates about her, and her of him that they are still bound together.

Posted by: | CommentsSo I’ve compiled a list of what I view as the best most explosive( ok maybe explosive is exaggerating a bit) synastry aspects for two people to have. These aspects cause for different shades and different feelings to come from oneself, but all are pretty powerful and if you and a significant other, or potential significant other have these, I would say your chances are pretty, pretty good. In no particular order.
1.Sun conjunct,trine,or sextile venus.
Ever just see someone and just plain and simply admired them? The venus person here will just plain ol’ really dig the sun person. The sun person will know this subtly and radiate the warmth of the sun back to venus. The two will enjoy each others company.
2. Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile Jupiter.
Indicates luck and happiness. With things going how they are today, a little luck and happiness is definitely healthy and very healing. This also indicates love without over possessiveness and jealousy which to me at least, is more indicative of love at it’s purest.
3. Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile Uranus.
If you want a stable, assured, and practical relationship make sure you DO NOT have this aspect. This makes the flow of venus erratic and unpredictable. Spontaneity is full blown here and the uranus person will most likely be viewed as exciting and eccentric by the venus person lending to their arousal.
4. Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile pluto.
When venus touches pluto what you will get is an intensely strong and passionate attraction that will not waver over time but grow (barring a plutonian “explosion” of some sort). Possessiveness can come into play here but the attraction is so magnetic it won’t even matter.
5. Sun in another person’s first house.
Might be more of an infatuation, but the first house person will see the sun person as everything great in the world, the best thing since sliced bread. Might even try to emulate the sun person.
6. Venus in another person’s 5th house.
A spirit of fun, romance, and adventure overtakes the both of you and chances are you’ll take some spontaneous risks together(where you may end up with a child).
7. Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile mars.
This is the classic placement for harmonious passion, love, and sex. Your energies are in sync and this will be the root of great enjoyment and pleasure. True love.
8. Mars conjunct, trine, or sextile pluto.
This will be a competitive, intense, highly sexually charged union. These two planets natures are highly explosive so it’s pretty much like adding gasoline to a burning stick of dynamite. Be sure to have positive goals to channel this energy towards because it will not remain dormant.
9. Moon conjunct, trine, or sextile Jupiter.
Mutual admiration. The moon person will feel more openly loving and generous in the company of the Jupiter person. The moon native will definitely want to expand horizons with the assistance of Jupiter as they will feel more positive and lucky. So go try something new!!
10.Mercury conjunct,trine, or sextile Sun.
Pretty much a cornerstone type of aspect at least in my view. Communication will come easy and there will be an appreciation for the thought processes. Expressing appreciation mentally and verbally will keep bonds strong if periods of separation occur.
The list for dynamic synastry contacts is probably longer than I can count but I needed to touch on some of them. For the other astrology buffs out there, what are some of the aspects you find to be highly beneficial and even explosive in nature?
Please share your thoughts with us.
