10 most xplosive synastry relationship aspects in love astrology
I’ve compiled a list of what I view as the best most explosive( ok maybe explosive is exaggerating a bit) synastry or love astrology aspects for two people to have. These aspects cause for different shades and different feelings to come from oneself, but all are pretty powerful and if you and a significant other, or potential significant other have these, I would say your chances are pretty, pretty good.
Aspect Definition and Meaning
Before getting into these synastry aspects we must first understand what an “aspect’ is in the context of astrology. The physical lines of distance between planets translate down onto astrological charts in geometric form. These geometric lines between planets are either supportive, neutral, or harsh in terms of their angle. These lines are essentially lines of communication between planets in your chart. Some planets have excellent lines of communication and some have poor lines of communication.
In synastry, we analyze the lines of planetary communication between two people.
In no particular order.
Sun conjunct, trine, or sextile Venus.
Ever just see someone and just plain and simply admired them? The Venus person here will just plain ol’ really dig the sun person. The sun person will know this subtly and radiate the warmth of the sun back to Venus. The two will enjoy each others company.
Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile Jupiter.
Indicates luck and happiness. With things going how they are today, a little luck and happiness is definitely healthy and very healing. This also indicates love without over possessiveness and jealousy which to me at least, is more indicative of love at it’s purest.
Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile Uranus.
If you want a stable, assured, and practical relationship make sure you DO NOT have this aspect. This makes the flow of Venus erratic and unpredictable. Spontaneity is full blown here and the Uranus person will most likely be viewed as exciting and eccentric by the Venus person lending to their arousal.
Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile Pluto.
When Venus touches Pluto what you will get is an intensely strong and passionate attraction that will not waver over time but grow (barring a Plutonian “explosion” of some sort). Possessiveness can come into play here but the attraction is so magnetic it won’t even matter.
Sun in another person’s first house.
Might be more of an infatuation, but the first house person will see the sun person as everything great in the world, the best thing since sliced bread. Might even try to emulate the sun person.
Venus in another person’s 5th house.
A spirit of fun, romance, and adventure overtakes the both of you and chances are you’ll take some spontaneous risks together(where you may end up with a child).
Venus conjunct, trine, or sextile Mars.
This is the classic placement for harmonious passion, love, and sex. Your energies are in sync and this will be the root of great enjoyment and pleasure. True passion. Venus conjunct Mars is the most intense. The Mars person in the equation is extremely attracted to the ways of the Venus person and receptive to them, barring a wet blanket aspect to Saturn.
Mars conjunct, trine, or sextile Pluto.
This will be a competitive, intense, highly sexually charged union. These two planets natures are highly explosive so it’s pretty much like adding gasoline to a burning stick of dynamite. Be sure to have positive goals to channel this energy towards because it will not remain dormant.
Moon conjunct, trine, or sextile Jupiter.
Mutual admiration. The moon person will feel more openly loving and generous in the company of the Jupiter person. The moon native will definitely want to expand horizons with the assistance of Jupiter as they will feel more positive and lucky. So go try something new!!
Mercury conjunct, trine, or sextile Sun.
Pretty much a cornerstone type of aspect at least in my view. Communication will come easy and there will be an appreciation for the thought processes. Expressing appreciation mentally and verbally will keep bonds strong if periods of separation occur.
Some other big synastry aspects
Moon conjunct Venus synastry
A meeting of nurture and love language. The moon person in the equation is comforted by the way the Venus person expresses their affection. The Venus person senses that their overtures are appreciated. For example, the sense of sociability and evenhandedness a Venus Libra exhibits will not rattle or violate the sensibilities of a moon Aquarius.
Venus square Mars synastry
This aspect is actually considered negative or harsh. But you will find that many couples work this out and it’s actually … ironically a point of attraction. For example, a Mars in Libra person and a Venus in Cancer person in a relationship may cause some big tension. The Venus in Cancer sees the Mars in Libra as too flirtatious, friendly and lacking in intimacy depth. The Mars in Libra native sees the Venus in Cancer as too introverted or emotional. Yet this contrast is actually what may keep them together as they never become 100% comfortable together. It becomes a learning experience.
Moon square Mars synastry
This can be an explosive synastry but not in a good way. The moon person is fundamentally bothered by the way Mars asserts themself. Moon in Leo sees Mars in Scorpio as too reserved, too controlled, and not expressive enough. Mars in Scorpio doesn’t like the seemingly superficial needs of the Leo moon. This square can result in some deeply emotional battles.
The list for dynamic synastry contacts is probably longer than I can count but I needed to touch on some of them. For the other astrology buffs out there, what are some of the aspects you find to be highly beneficial and even explosive in nature?
